Erin K. Rozewicz, Esq. received her undergraduate degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Geneseo, graduating magna cum laude. Determined to pursue a legal career, after graduation she began working at a law firm in Buffalo where she gained significant experience in litigation prior to law school.
Ms. Rozewicz graduated summa cum laude from the University at Buffalo School of Law where she was a Publications Editor for the Buffalo Law Review. During law school, Ms. Rozewicz worked as a faculty research scholar and was the Vice President of the Finance and Law Society. She was a member of the University at Buffalo Trial Team, competed in numerous national competitions, and advanced to the semi-finals in the Peter James Johnson National Civil Rights Trial Competition. At graduation, she received a Connelly Award for outstanding performance in trial technique.
Prior to joining The Coppola Firm, Ms. Rozewicz interned with the Hon. Richard J. Arcara, United States District Court Judge for the Western District of New York where she assisted in drafting decisions, researching complex legal issues, and preparing legal memoranda for cases in litigation. She also gained a wide variety of legal experience as a summer associate for in-house counsel at a publicly-traded company, as an intern with the New York State Attorney General’s Office, and as a law clerk at a large Buffalo law firm. These opportunities provided her with experience in employment law, civil litigation defense, and personal injury litigation.
Ms. Rozewicz joined the Firm as a law clerk in 2016. She routinely assists clients with business and employment law matters, commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, as well as trusts and estates matters. She is familiar with and adept at handling all aspects of litigation from preparing initial pleadings, discovery demands and responses through dispositive motion practice and preparation for trial. Ms. Rozewicz also counsels clients on compliance with New York and federal law.
Ms. Rozewicz is admitted to practice law in New York State and is a member of the New York State and Erie County Bar Associations. She also is a member of the Order of the Coif.
